ye he just ran up a tree | It was time for their first mission and Flix was beyond excited. Not to mention he found himself to look rather cute (if he could say so himself) wearing the Ranger uniform. It was a little tight to be honest, but he was certain that once he broke it in, it would look better. New clothes was always a pain anyways, until it got nice and used up, worn and torn in all the right areas.
Aiden the little Chimchar sat on his shoulder, the little monkey wasn't his first partner, but to have a giant charizard wandering around with the two would make them far too obvious and would definitely blow their cover - and his partner was a cute girl, one of the cutest ones in his class too, so he was determined to make somewhat of a good impression. Sadly he couldn't say he knew much about her other than her name, Penelope - he was always too busy to try and alleviate the class' mood with jokes and tricks rather than to really get too close to anyone.
Once they stopped, Penny expressed that it was a good spot and Aiden the monkey jumped up and shuffled up the nearest tree. "H-hey!" The redhead quickly followed, with a small hop he took hold of the nearest branch of the tree Aiden slipped up and hoisted himself with a quick acrobatic like leap; swinging his legs up and jumping from one branch to the other. Obviously not afraid of falling or anything. it wasn't that he was confident with his nimbleness, but more so that he was quite careless.
"You ready to start setting up?" she said, and with Aiden once again in his hands, Flix swung down from his branch, hanging by his legs while holding the fire monkey near his chest. "So soon? Shouldn't we enjoy the good weather? In a couple hours when the sun starts going down we can set up, make a cozy fire and stuff, maybe roast some weenies!" |
