One more pokemon was officially added to her farm as the ball shifted into submission. You did a fantastic job Noelle! pressing her hands together, she looked up at her bird excitedly, who slowly floated down onto her head to rest again. cotton like wings folding at her side while nestling into the blue locks of her trainer's hair.
Time passed since the last pokemon encounter and the day was dragging on, clutching her stomach, it growled from time to time, telling Stella that it was almost dinner time and that she should wrap up her time here out in the fields for other pokemon. just one more... she was determined to catch just one more before calling it a day. it was her first time out here catching them, so she couldn't just throw in the bag already. Noelle was fast asleep at this point, huddled up in her soft white wings - and then stella startled her with a loud gasp.
poking the bird awake further, look look! i want it! she pointed toward the afro bull like pokemon. she thought it looked fantastic, and soft... mind weakening it for me please? she begged, and noelle responded by yawning and quickly shaking off her tired wings. she floated closer to the bull and began to sing once more, a familiar strategy.
Before realizing what was happening, the bull was asleep and vulnerable to the soon coming attacks form its assailant. Bracing itself, the bird flew in with all its might, slamming its body into he sleeping bull and in response, hurt itself in the attack. nothing it couldn't shake off however. the following attack sealed the deal, pecking at the cow just enough to lower its health to make capture just that much easier.
Once swablu seemed to be confident that the bull was done, giving stella the sign to throw the ball - and she did... waiting for a success or failure once again.
Mightyena is on standby! Swablu levelled up! Swablu used sing! (5 outa 100, 55 or lower is a success) Bouffalant is asleep! Swablu used take down! Swablu used peck! Stella threw a poke ball!
With a smile tracing the young woman's lips, she went over to pick up the newly caught pokemon - she would be certain to make sure all the pokemon she caught today would be introduced and fed well before being placed away on her farm. Alright! We're growing just a little bit, just a few more! Well for today at least. She gave Helios a sheepish grin, knowing very well herself that she would make every possible attempt at catching every pokemon she saw in order to grow her farm to ridiculous proportions.
Stepping out of the water, Helios was dripping wet and Stella's dress was not any better. Her toes sunk into the soft sand as the dress clung to her ankles, before spotting the little orange creature watching them. Mightyena was ready to pounce into action, but was stopped when Stella patted him on the head. Take a bit of a rest, give someone else a try hm? He didn't seem all too happy about sitting this one out, but with a grunt, the canine sat down at his trainers side and was ready to watch.
Taking out her first partner's poke ball, Stella threw the ball into the air to summon the little white and blue cotton bird to the field. Use sing! Let's hope it falls asleep... She crossed her fingers, sing didn't always work; this time it did! The song lulled the lobster like thing to sleep which gave them ample time to work out their next moves. First Take Down and then use Disarming Voice. Although Stella and Noelle have been together for what felt like forever, Swablu still wasn't all that adept to battling as Helios was. But she followed orders correctly.
Once the lobster seemed tired enough, without waking up surprisingly, Stella threw another ball and hoped that this one too would be successful.
Mightyena is on standby! Swablu used Sing! (I rolled out of 100, 55 and lower is asleep. I rolled a 40) Corphish is asleep! Swablu used Take Down! Swablu used Disarming Voice! Stella threw a poke ball!
Helios was a natural fighter, he was very well capable at battling without Stella's aid. Perhaps if she saw something that he didn't, she would speak up to guide him into victory, but other than that, he was quite capable without her. Once the last opponent was sucked into the ball, he immediately sat down and watched over the terrain while Stella sweated over the poke ball, hoping for it to give the signal of a successful capture.
Ping! and finally the wait was over, Helio's ears twisted toward the direction of the ball when it went off, but nothing else could be seen from the hound. Stella went over excitedly Yes! One more to add to the collection~ she sang while dancing around Helios, a hand on his head in a patting motion to give him praise for helping out so much. Seriously, without him, catching would take forever. To think this guy came out of nowhere and attacked her before this! He had truly become a wonderful addition to the team.
In an attempt to go relax for a bit before continuing on their search, the two jumped the fence to the water's edge to dip their feet. Helios swam for a bit, and began barking randomly at some item in the water. W-what is it? she waddled on over through the waist high water and looked down at a strange little creature in the water she could only guess was a pokemon. She wasn't all that knowledgeable when it came to water types.
Go get it! I want it. She asked of the dog and he gladly obeyed, leaping forward with his mouth wide open, aiming another Crunch (seeing as it was his favorite move of the day) which quickly knocked the thing out. On que, Stella took out her ball and threw it at the creature. She would read up on it later to find out more about it.

She fumbled with her fingers while watching he ball rock and blink, deciding if the capture was successful or not. She was a little nervous, she didn't want the battle to go on too long and let both the wild purrloin and helios get too injured. She disliked battles to be honest, but it was a necessary evil if one wanted to tame and capture pokemon - especially if you are a breeder. Taming them passively would take just too long! It was how most people did their captures anyways, and most pokemon didn't seem to hold much of a grudge once that trainer and pokemon bond was established.
Soon enough the ball pinged! Both the young girl and the black hound cheered in victory - Stella would make a note to try and spoil the new cat on their team later, so no hard feelings would come out of this.
Coming out from the corner of her eye, a small little white ice like thing came along. A Bergmite? You're a little far from home, huh? She crouched down next to the thing to talk, trying to get on its level, but the pokemon went on the defensive and blew soft cold snow into her direction (Powder Snow); Helios moved fast enough to move in between the wild pokemon and stella to take the hit instead of Stella and began the battle!
With Intimidate in effect with the new battle, the Bergmite's attack lowered while Helios stared it down with an intimidating snarl. Howling once again to raise its attack, Helios used his speed to his advantage, and retaliated against the small ice pokemon by using Crunch on it. It was obviously very effective despite it not being a type advantage in battle, Helios was just apparently stronger as the Bergmite went down in one attack. It seemed to be hanging on however, by a sliver - and Stella took this opportunity to throw a poke ball and hope for the best one more time!
In a matter of moments, Helios was onto something, his nose to the ground with a snort and almost quiet bark to alert Stella that he had something on the trail. Hm? What you got there? The blue haired girl followed him until they both spotted the little purple cat, doing its thing in the bushes - sleeping. As most feline pokemon seemed to be doing, especially on beautiful days such as this. Sun bathing and keeping themselves warm. It seemed rather comfy really.
Hey kitty! I don't want to surprise you, do wakey wakey! Stella yelled, cupping her mouth to try and amplify the sound - thus waking up the cat from its slumber, seemingly upset about the whole thing. Before it could attack, due to Helio's speed being higher - he HOWLED to initiate battle, to which the cat retaliated with a SCRATCH, scratching the poor canine. He took it like champ though, not crying or whining, instead he followed up with another HOWL, readying himself for his true attack that's to come soon as the cat continued its assault that changed into a FURRY SWIPE.
It clung to Helios, doing as much damage as it possibly could, but since he didn't seem all too phased by it, Stella could only imagine that the level differences were rather large. Shaking himself free of the cat, the thing went flying and landed just a couple feet away, preparing a new attack, but once again, was just too slow to make the first move.
Once he was ready, Helios attacked with a TACKLE, leaving behind his bite attacks due to the similar typing which would make it near useless. The cat, with the level differences and the howls, didn't stand a chance. She was hurt, real bad, and before this battle could rage on any longer - Stella threw a poke ball with the hopes and wishes that the ball would ping and stay still... She crossed her fingers while watching it rock back and fourth.
mightyena's intimidate lowered purrloin's attack by one stage mightyena used howl (x2) - rose its attack by two stages mightyena used tackle stella threw a pokeball at purloin!
Somewhat crazy, but with the best of intentions, Stella has the dream to catch all the pokemon she can find and eventually become a successful breeder. She has the dream to have a farm that can potentially save any Pokemon species from going extinct. Not to mention she loves to surround herself with all the cuteness of all Pokemon ever!

With Mightyena walking at her side, Stella was ready to catch whatever came their way. She was certain that she was going to hoard as many pokemon as she could get her hands on and make a farm for all kinds of pokemon and trainers with preferences. Waddling through the grass, her little white summer dress and a jean jacket was just enough to keep her warm while keeping and eye out for pokemon, and Helios had his nose to the ground to try and help as much as possible.
That a boy, they should be around here somewhere... she said while parting a clump of tall grass. while he was looking in one direction while he was at her back sniffing in another. One of them was bound to catch sight of something. Normally she would have Swablu or Dratini around to keep her company, but Mightyena was just a better companion when it came to pokemon hunting, he was her third pokemon after all that she had obtained after the two blue ones.
They weren't out for too long really, Stella had woken up maybe two hours ago, showered, ate, got dressed and then they were on their way to find new pokemon for their collection.
