01. GENERAL RULES

[attr="class","likedoinfo"]No one likes to read the rules, they can be quite tedious and are often the same as other sites - however we do ask for you to go through these rules of ours and familiarize yourself with them in order to understand how infinity works from the inside out. there are always some small differences from site to site, so please, take your time, grab some tea, coffee, beer or juice and take a quick read - we aren't going anywhere.


1. BULLYING. Under no circumstances will we tolerate bullying. It is childish, foolish, and most of all ignorant. If any member is caught bullying another member, they will be warned immediately. If the behaviour persists, the member will be banned. This includes trolling in any way, if it upsets someone, its not cool to do.

2. SWEARING. We all do it, it happens to the best of us. Just try to keep it at an appropriate level. It makes you seem a little childish if every second word is "fucking." Fair warning, you will look like an idiot.

3. PESTERING. Please do not pester staff to mod threads/review apps. We will get to it, and it should take no longer than 4 days. If it does, a new mod, or the main admin will help take over the situation and rectify the problem caused. Thank you for understanding. We also have a mod notification board that you can always post in to get our attention a little quicker.

4. HAVE FUN. This site was created to have a good time. Anyone who doesn't oblige, or hinders the process of others having fun will be removed from the equation. Tau doesn't have time for your bullshit, only time to be relaxed and happy. Abusing the system will also hinder on the site's fun levels, so please do not abuse our system - we don't want to implement more rules to stop you or others. Level up and battle fairly, no one wins all the times, its fun to lose too - builds character!


1. WORD COUNT. The word count is 300 for wild posts (both for battle and capture), 250 for other IC posts. Don't give mods shit to work with. Don't give your partner shit to work with. Easy enough, right?

2. NAMES & AGE/OTHER CHARACTER INFO. Please register your name as: Firstname or nickname. There are absolutely no exceptions to this rule. It looks better, feels better, and is completely and irrevocably better (makes it easier to tag your character in posts too). Do not make a character under 18 years of age in Team Rocket or the Rangers, they will not be accepted. No, you cannot have an anthropomorphic character, no your character cannot be cursed with animal traits, and no you cannot be a faerie/lycan/vampire. Thanks.

3. POWERPLAYING. Don't lie about your pokemon's strength, levels, or hits. Your predicted damage should be honest, and come from a reliable damage calculator when battling with other trainers and gyms. If you are caught cheating or power playing with your pokemon, you will be warned, lose the battle in question, and if you continue, you will be removed from the site. No one likes a cheater, please be honest and fair.

4. ABUSING THE SYSTEM. Just don't do it. We mentioned this before in other rules, we just want to hammer it into your heads. The system is here for a smooth play, and to give people a guideline for in character things. If we suspect you are abusing the system in any way (to get certain pokemon, more money, etc...) you will be warned. If you continue, your account will be banned for 3 months. On your return and you continue to abuse the system, your account and PC will be deleted. Your character profile will stay up, but everything else will be gone. Please, just don't abuse the system of the site.

5. TABLE SIZES. Tables should not be made any wider than 400px. Yes, the boards are super sized and wide when the side bar is closed, however once it is open, it'll condense the board, and look ugly. Please do not use any tables wider than 400px.
