I'M MAKING THIS LIKE THE DAY AFTER PENNY GOT HURT K
Although he loved his team, Flix was hungry for more fire types to add to his team. Riding on the back of Kevin the Charizard, the duo made their way to fire central, Cinnabar Island, home to the volcano of indigo league and known for its fire type leader. If they were going to find any fire types, they would be here.
Upon landing, a flurry of dust flew up from under the pseudo dragon's wings, and Flix was quick to hop off in a graceful leap. Landing with very little sound emanating from his toes hitting the ground. Ready to find some fire types buddy? he patted the Charizard's neck, and got a huff as a response, smoke filtering out from the lizard's nose.
Awkwardly the fire lizard followed Flix on its two legs, into the crumbling building where Flix read up that most of the island's pokemon were found. Granted it wasn't all fire types in here, but if they were to find any in large amounts, it should be near the volcano. He knew where he could find vulpix, houndour, ponyta for certain, but some were here too in smaller amounts - but in greater number of fire type encounter. he was going to take his chance in finding something, even if it was a double of what he already had.
fire types were fire types after all, he couldn't be picky with doubles.
Kevin's flame on the end of his tail lit the way in the dimly lit building as the two walked around, careful not to stub his toe on fallen debris. I hope we find a Heatmor or something cool, huh? he had his signature smile, beaming bright and white toward his grumpy looking partner. Heatmor, Slugma, Ponyta, would be nice, but he still had his hopes up for perhaps the other two starting fire types he was missing for his collection.. Fennekin, Torchic and Tepig would mean he had every starter fire type from each region.
BOUGHT SOME GREAT BALLS, NEXT ONE CAN BE 35-40 PLS? FLIX THREW A BALL AFTER ALL THAT FIGHT
Coming out from around the corner was a small little fire type, not exactly what he wanted, but it was damn sure close enough! It wasn't rare, but it wasn't something he had just yet either. He had to have it. Unfortunately it seemed a little weak when compared to the mighty Kevin, and with a pouted face, Flix turned to his companion. Sorry buddy, you'll need to sit this one out. Without any complaints, the pseudo dragon stepped back and allowed his trainer to do his thing in catching the small lion like pokemon.
Reaching around his belt, Flix took out the only one he thought was weak and yet strong enough to take on this opponent. Throwing the ball into he air, the white light summoned the funny little fire butt monkey onto the battlefield, ready for action as always. use taunt little buddy! Flix was quick to start throwing around orders, preferring to get the first move in, however the little lion was sadly quicker... A roar erupted from the lion's maw, intimidating the poor monkey into lowering its attack and special attack. Quivering a little on the spot, Aiden was quick to recover remembering Flix's orders and taunted the lion into only using attacks from now on, and not anything that could lower his stats from now on.
Already the battle was going to be tight, the lion rushed in, after falling for the taunt and hit the poor monkey with a hard tackle, sending the creature stumbling back - trying hard to keep to his feet, bu still finding his butt touching the ground. Are you okay? Can you use leer and then fury swipe for me by chance? Shaking off the attack, Aiden nodded and quickly bounced onto his feet. Glaring at the lion who was just paces away before lunging out with his claws extended, landing just about 3 strikes of his fury swipe before the lion was able to escape his grasp.
Litleo, determined to claim victory for itself went in for a take down, if it were to hit, Aiden would be down for the count and this wild pokemon would claim victory over its first victim. Get out of there! use Flame Wheel to dodge it and counter with a scratch! it all had to work, otherwise Aiden would be down and weakening this guy further before throwing a ball would be tough without killing it... Flix began to sweat at the thought, while the two were about to clash, Aiden engulfed itself in fire and spun his way out of the lion's barrage and retaliated with a scratch... it didn't do to much damage - but Flix was quick to throw a ball anyways and hope for the best...
